Take Care of Your Denim (So It Takes Care of You)
A good pair of jeans is an investment. Here's how we make ours last:
- Wash less often. Denim doesn't need to be washed after every wear. Spot-clean when you can and wash inside-out in cold water when you do.
- Skip the dryer when possible. Heat breaks down the fabric and causes shrinkage. Air dry flat or hang to preserve the fit.
- Store them folded, not hung. Hanging denim stretches the waistband over time — not what we want.
- Go easy on dark wash jeans. Dark denim fades with every wash. The less you wash, the longer they stay rich and dark.
